Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic mental health care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes and enhance quality of life for individuals across various settings. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including primary care providers, social workers, and specialists—to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.

Participate in telehealth consultations to extend mental health services across diverse geographic locations.
Qualifications

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in good standing.

No current or pending malpractice lawsuits.

Valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.

Experience working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical psychiatric setting.

Works well independently and as part of a team while benefitting from clinical support and mentorship.

Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.
